Initial PALS Class June 30th & July 1st at Stonemill Farms Community Residents’ Club

PALS is a comprehensive course that is focused on evaluating the infant or child by using the systematic approach so the participant can rapidly identify the problems and perform appropriate interventions on an acutely ill child or infant. It is designed for healthcare providers who may be involved with and participate in the management of patients in these types of situations. Each section will have a video component as well as group discussions, hands-on practice and skills check-off to assess what you have learned.

• Systems of care, pediatric BLS review & skill checks
• Systematic approach to assessment
• Respiratory emergency management
• Shock emergency management
• Cardiac emergencies
• Post-cardiac arrest care
